SUMMARY Supervises and directs the daily production operations by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supervises the staff, equipment and products of the department teams insuring safety, quality, and production efficiency. Plans and controls the daily operations including scheduling and timely preparation and distribution of the product. Ensures that all products produced meet or exceed requirements of all applicable procedures and standards. Track and control plant expenses to ensure monthly and annual goals are achieved. Insures that all operations activities are in compliance with or exceed all applicable Federal, State, safety and health, OSHA, DOT, and FDA regulations and requirements. Develops a team culture consistent with the Matheson strategy of Safety, Quality/Customer Service, and Profitable Growth.
